The Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (BEMS) plans to update the online EMS Registry system at the end of November 2017. As most of you are aware, the EMS Registry system manages your certification and continuing education information, and permits you to print your current continuing education status report. The new system will provide updates and improvements to the function and accessibility of the system.
It is anticipated that the current EMS Registry will be taken off-line on November 20, 2017 and remain off-line until the new system is activated on November 28, 2017. During that time, there will be no access to the EMS Registry system at the provider or regional level. You will not be able to login to the system, check your status or print your continuing education report.
If you expire on January 1, 2018, I would encourage you to complete your continuing education requirements early, to avoid any delays or difficulties due to the transition.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to better the EMS Registry system and provide better support to all EMS providers. We will provide additional updates as they become available.
